Grand Central 1-13-25
There is probably no more beautiful building in New York City than Grand Central terminal. You always feel the energy when you’re in that large room and looking up to the ceiling you see many constellations. A big thank you to Jacqueline Kennedy for being instrumental in saving the building from being torn down for an office tower. The sun like image is from a very long mural in the new Long Island RR Terminal, recently opened. It is connected to Grand Central Terminal. It cost $11 million.

Oh, Judy! You have changed my life in so many wonderful ways. I don’t have to bother listening to the news anymore, I can just listen to you sing and I must say that’s probably the most enjoyable thing that happens to me on a daily basis.

Judy Garland is medicine to me - & many others. Frank Sinatra said “100 years after I die, no one will know who I was” (not sure about that) “but 500 years after Judy Garland dies, many will still be listening to, and studying, her. That’s how interesting she is - that’s how magnificent her voice is. That’s what a consummate performance she is that’s why she still known as “The World’s Greatest “Entertainer”, sang the most popular, beloved song of all time “Over the Rainbow”, starred in the most popular, beloved movie of all time “The Wizard of Oz” (just put it on youtube on the computer - what joy!); her concert at Carnegie Hall is still called “The Greatest Night in Entertainment History” (Judy Garnegie Hall). So much more. She is the only person in history who has a book written about every day of their life. Are they writing a book about every day of your life yet?

Flower Power Arrangements
Beefeater
This is the first flower power piece I am presenting in a Toby job base. Toby jugs are very interesting. It was a company called Dalton started in England in the early 1800s in the location where the soil was best for making porcelain products. They started with commercial products like sewer lines, but in the late 1800s one of the sons joined and they started creating unusual basis That had a handle on it and people with their own personal drinking mugs for ale, generally. In the early 1900s the King of England gave the company a royal citation and they know became known as Royal Dalton. The characters are all interesting. A lot of of them have a name and a lot of them refer to someone historical or someone in a book.
This one is called Beefeater. This was the name for guards at The Tower of London.
